Hiring for Jack-Up Barge

Job Description

MARPO is seeking experienced offshore professionals to join a jack-up barge project. Vacancies are available in crane operations, deck operations, mechanical maintenance, and electrical maintenance.

Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of experience in the same position on a jack-up barge.

Available Positions

• Crane Operator – Stage 3
• Bosun
• AB / Rigger
• Rig Mechanic
• Electrician

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate cranes and lifting equipment safely in accordance with relevant certification and procedures.
• Supervise or assist with deck operations, rigging, and lifting activities.
• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Follow offshore safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions onboard.

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of experience in the same position on a jack-up barge.
• Valid professional certificates relevant to the position.
• Valid STCW certificates, where applicable.
• Valid offshore medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and Passport, as applicable.
• Crane Operator applicants must hold Stage 3 certification.
• Ability to work safely in an offshore environment.

Employment Details

• Vessel Type: Jack-Up Barge.
• Rotation: 3 months on / 1 month off.
• Contract Duration: Rotational contract; individual assignment duration not specified.
