Job Description

Select Offshore is currently recruiting experienced offshore personnel for a range of deck, lifting and specialist operator positions for upcoming projects commencing throughout September and October 2026.

Candidates with relevant offshore experience, appropriate qualifications and availability for the specified joining dates are invited to apply.

Open Positions

Crane & Lifting Operations

  • Crane Operator – 400T
    Joining: 19 October 2026
  • Crane Operator – Crawler Crane
    Joining: ASAP

Specialist Offshore Operations

  • Vertical Injector Operator – Cable
    Joining: ASAP

Fabrication

  • Welder
    Joining: 19 October 2026
    UK Work Permit: Required

Heavy Equipment

  • Excavator Operator
    Joining: ASAP
    UK Work Permit: Required

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

  • Safely operate cranes, heavy equipment and specialist offshore machinery.
  • Carry out lifting, handling, excavation or cable-related operations as applicable.
  • Perform equipment inspections and report defects or unsafe conditions.
  • Follow approved lifting plans, method statements and risk assessments.
  • Support offshore deck and project operations.
  • Maintain equipment and working areas in safe operational condition.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency procedures.
  • Follow all company HSE, environmental and offshore safety requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a professional offshore project team.

Requirements

General Requirements

  • Relevant experience in the same or similar position.
  • Previous offshore project experience preferred.
  • Valid professional qualifications and competency certificates appropriate to the role.
  • Valid offshore safety and medical documentation as required by the project.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a demanding offshore environment.
  • Availability for the specified joining date.

Position-Specific Requirements

Crane Operator – 400T

  • Proven experience operating large offshore cranes.
  • Relevant crane operator certification for the equipment and project.
  • Availability to join on 19 October 2026.

Crane Operator – Crawler

  • Proven crawler crane operating experience.
  • Appropriate crane operator certification.
  • Availability for ASAP mobilisation.

Vertical Injector Operator – Cable

  • Relevant experience with vertical injection / cable operations.
  • Appropriate equipment/operator certification and offshore experience.
  • Availability for ASAP mobilisation.

Welder

  • Relevant professional welding qualifications.
  • Proven offshore welding / fabrication experience.
  • Valid UK Work Permit required.
  • Availability to join on 19 October 2026.

Excavator Operator

  • Proven excavator / heavy plant operating experience.
  • Appropriate operator certification.
  • Valid UK Work Permit required.
  • Availability for ASAP mobilisation.
