Location: United Kingdom / UK Waters

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting candidates to join a Split Hopper Barge (SHB) operating in UK waters. The project involves dredging-related operations and requires reliable crew with valid UK work authorization and appropriate certification.

The contract is short-term (6 weeks), with joining planned for mid-March or end of April. Previous experience on Split Hopper Barges or dredgers is considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Performing deck or engine room duties according to rank
• Assisting with dredging and SHB operations
• Routine maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of deck or machinery spaces
• Supporting safe vessel operations in UK waters
• Compliance with vessel Safety Management System (SMS) and procedures
• Effective teamwork within the onboard crew

Requirements:

• Valid UK Work Permit (mandatory)
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC):

• Deckhand: II/5
• Motorman / Oiler / Greaser: III/5
  • Valid STCW certificates
  • Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Experience on SHB or dredgers is an advantage
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Good safety awareness and work ethic
