Job Description
OSM Thome Oceania is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified and experienced seafarers for upcoming opportunities onboard a Dive Support Vessel (DSV) operating in Australian waters.
Successful candidates will support offshore diving operations, marine engineering, dynamic positioning, deck operations, crane activities, and vessel maintenance while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, Australian offshore requirements, and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced DSV professionals who hold the required Australian certifications and work rights.

Job Responsibilities
- Support safe offshore diving and marine operations
- Perform navigational and engineering watchkeeping according to rank
- Maintain Dynamic Positioning operations (DPO position)
- Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, and electrical systems
- Conduct deck maintenance and cargo operations
- Operate offshore cranes where applicable
- Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and Australian offshore regulations
- Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork onboard
Requirements
- Previous Dive Support Vessel (DSV) experience
- Valid AMSA Certificate of Competency (CoC), GOC or CoP appropriate to the applied position
- Valid AMSA Medical
- DP Unlimited Certificate (Deck Officer positions)
- STCW Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) Ticket (highly regarded)
- Valid passport with minimum 6 months validity
- MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) preferred
- Valid work rights in Australia
- Good English communication skills
- Strong offshore operational knowledge and safety awareness
- Physically and medically fit for offshore service
