Job Description

Nord Crewing is urgently recruiting an experienced full crew for a tugboat delivery voyage from Malta to Nigeria.

The company is seeking qualified marine officers and ratings with previous experience on tugboats, workboats, or offshore vessels. Successful candidates will support the safe operation and delivery of the vessel, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and onboard safety procedures throughout the voyage.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Ensure safe vessel navigation and watchkeeping during the delivery voyage
• Manage deck operations, mooring and anchoring activities
• Operate and maintain main engines and auxiliary machinery
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of vessel equipment
• Support safe onboard operations and emergency response procedures
• Prepare meals and maintain galley hygiene and food safety standards
• Follow company HSE procedures and international maritime regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience on tugboats, workboats or offshore vessels is required
• Valid STCW certification appropriate to the position
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for officer and engineer positions
• Valid passport, seaman’s book and medical certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
• Availability for urgent mobilisation
