Job Description

Clyde Recruitment is inviting applications from qualified and experienced offshore professionals for positions onboard a Jack Up Barge operating in the UK.

Opportunities are available across the marine, deck, lifting and catering departments. Candidates should have relevant offshore or vessel experience, appropriate qualifications for their position and valid documentation required for offshore employment.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

• Perform assigned duties in accordance with vessel procedures and company requirements.
• Support safe and efficient Jack Up Barge operations.
• Carry out bridge watchkeeping, DP support, deck maintenance or lifting activities as applicable.
• Operate relevant equipment safely and follow approved operational procedures.
• Assist with cargo handling, mooring and general offshore activities where required.
• Maintain equipment and assigned work areas in safe operating condition.
• Support catering, housekeeping and accommodation services where applicable.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency drills.
• Follow company HSE, environmental and offshore safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a professional offshore crew.

Requirements

General Requirements

• Relevant experience in the same or similar position.
• Previous offshore vessel or Jack Up Barge experience preferred.
• Valid maritime or professional qualifications appropriate to the applied position.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable COC/COP, where required.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation, as applicable.
• Good command of English.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in an offshore environment.
• Additional offshore safety certificates may be required according to the role and project.

Position-Specific Requirements

Junior DPO

• Relevant bridge watchkeeping qualification, such as an OOW CoC, where required.
• DP training or certification appropriate to the position.
• Previous DP vessel or offshore experience preferred.

Able Seaman (AB)

• Valid AB qualification / STCW II/5 certification, as applicable.
• Relevant deck and vessel-operation experience.
• Knowledge of mooring, deck maintenance and safe working practices.

Crane Operator

• Relevant crane operator qualification and competency certification.
• Proven experience operating cranes in marine or offshore environments.
• Knowledge of lifting plans, lifting equipment and offshore safety procedures.

Steward

• Previous shipboard catering, housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of hygiene, cleanliness and accommodation services.
• Ability to support crew welfare and maintain high housekeeping standards.
