Job Description

We are currently recruiting experienced maritime professionals to join the crew for the takeover of a modern CSOV vessel.

The positions are intended for candidates with proven experience in their respective ranks on modern DP vessels, as well as previous experience participating in newbuilding vessel takeovers and mobilisations.

• Bosun / Crane & Gangway Operator
• 2 × Able Seaman / Crane & Gangway Operator

Engine & Electrical Department

• 2nd Engineer
• ETO

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, responsibilities may include:

• Support the safe and efficient takeover and mobilisation of the CSOV.
• Perform all duties associated with the assigned rank according to company procedures.
• Support DP operations and offshore vessel activities.
• Carry out bridge, deck, crane, gangway, engine-room or electrical duties as applicable.
• Assist with vessel commissioning, testing, inspections and operational readiness.
• Participate in newbuilding takeover activities and handover procedures.
• Ensure equipment and systems are maintained and operated safely.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, drills and emergency procedures.
• Follow company HSE, safety and environmental requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a professional offshore team.

Requirements

General Requirements

• Proven experience in the same rank on modern DP vessels – mandatory.
• Previous experience with newbuilding vessel takeovers – mandatory.
• Relevant maritime qualifications and certificates for the applied position.
• Valid STCW certificates and applicable endorsements.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Good command of English.
• Strong safety awareness, teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during vessel takeover and mobilisation.

Position-Specific Requirements

Chief Officer / SDPO

• Valid Chief Officer / OOW CoC.
• Valid SDPO / DP certification appropriate to the position.
• Proven experience on modern DP vessels and newbuilding takeovers.

2nd Officer / SDPO

• Valid OOW CoC.
• Valid SDPO / DP certification.
• Relevant experience on modern DP vessels and during newbuilding takeovers.

2nd Engineer

• Valid Engineering CoC appropriate to rank.
• Previous experience on modern DP vessels.
• Newbuilding / commissioning experience preferred and required for takeover activities.

ETO

• Valid ETO / electro-technical certification.
• Experience with electrical, automation and control systems on modern DP vessels.
• Newbuilding / commissioning experience preferred.

Bosun / Crane & Gangway Operator

• Relevant deck-rating certification.
• Proven experience operating offshore cranes and gangway systems.
• Experience on modern DP vessels.
• Newbuilding takeover experience preferred.

Able Seaman / Crane & Gangway Operator

• Valid AB / STCW II/5 qualification.
• Relevant crane and gangway-operation experience.
• Previous modern DP vessel experience.
• Newbuilding takeover experience preferred.
