Job Description
BDI Offshore Supplier & Services is currently recruiting qualified and experienced marine and offshore professionals to join a Crane Barge operating offshore in Saudi Arabia.
The company is seeking experienced deck officers, marine engineers, technical specialists, crane and winch operators, surveyors, ratings, HSE personnel, and support crew for offshore construction and lifting operations.
Successful candidates will contribute to safe and efficient crane-barge operations while maintaining compliance with international maritime regulations, offshore HSE standards, and project procedures.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to the assigned position and company procedures.
- Support offshore crane-barge, lifting, marine, and construction operations.
- Conduct navigation, DP, engineering, crane, winch, survey, or technical activities as applicable.
- Operate and maintain cranes, winches, machinery, marine systems, and offshore equipment.
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Support lifting, cargo handling, pipe installation, and offshore construction activities.
- Conduct hydrographic surveys, NDT inspections, or field engineering activities where applicable.
- Monitor compliance with project HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Maintain operational readiness and accurate technical documentation.
- Support accommodation, catering, laundry, and housekeeping services where applicable.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous experience in the relevant position.
- Previous offshore, crane barge, construction vessel, or similar marine vessel experience preferred.
- Valid STCW 2010 certification relevant to the position.
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) / Certificate of Proficiency (COP) where applicable.
- Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate.
- Relevant job-specific qualifications and certificates.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for offshore service.
Position-Specific Requirements
Chief Engineer / Second Engineer / Third Engineer – DP
- Valid Engineer CoC.
- Relevant DP vessel experience.
- DP-specific certification where required.
Chief Engineer / Second Engineer / Third Engineer – Non-DP
- Valid Engineer CoC.
- Relevant non-DP offshore vessel experience.
ETO
- Valid ETO certification.
- Relevant electrical, automation, and marine systems experience.
Chief Mate / Barge Master
- Valid Deck Officer CoC as applicable.
- Previous crane-barge, offshore construction, or heavy-lift vessel experience preferred.
Derrick Crane Operator / Deck Crane Operator
- Valid offshore crane operator certification.
- Proven experience with relevant crane systems.
Field Engineer
- Relevant engineering qualification.
- Previous offshore construction or marine project experience.
Hydrographic Surveyor
- Relevant hydrographic surveying qualification.
- Experience with offshore survey operations preferred.
NDT Technician
- Relevant NDT certifications appropriate to the inspection methods used.
Safety Officer
- Relevant HSE / Safety qualification.
- Previous offshore experience in a safety role preferred.
Winch Operator
- Relevant offshore winch operating experience and certification where applicable.
Marine Mechanic / Pipe Fitter / Valve Technician
- Relevant technical or trade qualification.
- Previous offshore maintenance experience preferred.
AB / OS
- Valid deck rating certification and relevant STCW certificates.
Cook / Messman / Laundry Man / Sweeper
- Previous vessel, offshore, or marine hospitality/support experience preferred.
- Relevant food hygiene certification for Cook where applicable.
