Description

A company is seeking qualified and experienced seafarers and offshore personnel to join an Accommodation Vessel operating in Brunei. These roles support offshore operations including vessel management, engineering, lifting operations, deck activities, and onboard hospitality services.

Candidates should have strong offshore experience and relevant certifications to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations while working within international safety and operational standards.

Minimum Required Certifications

The successful candidate must hold the following valid certifications:

  • LOLER Certification (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) or equivalent issued in compliance with BS7121 – Code of Practice for Safe Use of Crane
  • BOSIET (OPITO)
  • EBS (Emergency Breathing System)
  • Current STCW certification
  • Valid STCW Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
  • Valid passport with minimum 12 months validity
  • OPITO Rigger Level 2
  • OPITO Banksman & Slinger Level 2

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar offshore role
  • Experience in lifting operations and offshore vessel activities
  • Demonstrated experience as an Appointed Person-in-Charge of Lifting Operations
  • Experience working on offshore support or accommodation vessels

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must be physically fit and able to pass a Brunei medical examination without restrictions prior to travel
  • Additional training and competency assessments will be conducted onsite to achieve BSJV Lift Planner Level II Certificate of Competence
