Job Description

Augustea Ship Manning Philippines Inc. is urgently recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers to join conventional tug boats. Applicants must have relevant experience working on conventional tug vessels and be prepared to perform their duties in accordance with company procedures and maritime safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Master: Commanding the vessel, overseeing navigation, managing the crew, and ensuring safe tug operations.
• Chief Engineer: Supervising engine-room operations, maintaining propulsion and auxiliary machinery, and ensuring machinery reliability.
• AB/Cook: Performing deck duties, assisting with mooring and towing operations, maintaining deck equipment, and preparing meals for the crew.
• Oiler: Assisting with machinery maintenance, monitoring engine-room equipment, and supporting safe engine-room operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience on conventional tug boats is mandatory.
• Relevant maritime qualifications and valid Certificates of Competency or Proficiency for the position applied for.
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the rank.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a vessel crew.
