Location: United Kingdom Sector (Offshore Subsea Support Vessel)

Job Description:

OSM Thome is actively recruiting experienced crew members to join an Offshore Subsea Support Vessel operating in the United Kingdom sector. These positions will require candidates to be flexible, reliable, and have prior offshore experience to ensure the vessel’s operations are carried out efficiently and safely.

As part of the crew, you will be involved in various tasks including navigation, maintenance, catering, and deck operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a leading maritime company.

Open Positions:

• 3rd Officer – Assist in navigation, watchkeeping, and ensure the vessel is compliant with maritime regulations.
• AB (Able Seaman) – Assist with deck operations, mooring, maintenance, and safety duties onboard.
• OS (Ordinary Seaman) – Support deck crew with daily operational tasks and assist in mooring, cleaning, and maintenance activities.
• Fitter – Carry out maintenance and repair of mechanical and engine systems onboard.
• 2nd Cook – Assist the Chief Cook in meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining the galley operations.
• Assistant Cook – Assist in food preparation, serving, and maintaining the cleanliness of the galley.
• Steward / Stewardess – Provide guest services and housekeeping duties for the crew, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

For Deck and Engine Roles:

• Assist with deck operations and maintain equipment as per operational needs.
• Conduct routine checks, inspections, and maintenance of machinery, tools, and systems.
• Ensure all tasks are done in compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Maintain logbooks and records for inspections and maintenance.
• Be proactive in identifying potential hazards and work to resolve them promptly.

For Catering Roles:

• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the galley and dining areas.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals for crew members.
• Follow food safety regulations and procedures.
• Provide guest services with a focus on professionalism and quality.

Requirements:

General:

• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness.
• Prior offshore experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Valid Passport, Seaman’s Book, and other maritime documents.

Specific:

• 3rd Officer: Valid CoC as 3rd Officer and experience in watchkeeping and navigation.
• AB/OS: Must hold a valid Able Seaman Certificate (AB II/5) or Ordinary Seaman Certificate.
• Fitter: Relevant mechanical or technical qualifications.
• Catering Positions: Previous offshore catering experience or relevant qualifications (preferred).
