Job Description

Udya Shipping is currently seeking qualified and experienced maritime professionals to join an Offshore Multi-Support Vessel (MSV) operating.

The vessel is currently on standby mode at port, and successful candidates will support vessel operations, engineering, navigation, communications, and catering services while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, STCW requirements, and company HSE policies.

This opportunity is ideal for offshore professionals seeking long-term employment onboard an MSV with immediate joining in August 2026.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support safe offshore vessel operations during port standby and offshore assignments
  • Perform navigational and engine room watchkeeping according to rank
  • Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, and electrical systems
  • Maintain radio communications and GMDSS operations
  • Prepare meals and maintain galley hygiene standards
  • Carry out planned maintenance and repair work
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
  • Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE policies
  • Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork onboard

Requirements

General Requirements

  • Previous offshore or main fleet experience accepted
  • Valid STCW 2010 certification package
  • Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
  • Good English communication skills
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
  • Physically and medically fit for sea service

Position-Specific Requirements

  • Chief Engineer
    • Indian Class I Certificate of Competency
    • Candidates up to 67 years of age are acceptable
  • Third Engineer
    • Minimum 12 months sea service after obtaining Class IV CoC
  • Fourth Engineer
    • Minimum 6 months sea service after obtaining Class IV CoC
  • Junior Engineer
    • GME Certificate or
    • MEO Class IV Part A Certificate
  • NWKO / Second Officer
    • Valid Certificate of Competency appropriate for rank
  • Radio Operator
    • Valid GOC and GMDSS Endorsement
  • Trainee Radio Operator
    • Valid GOC
  • Indian Cook
    • Valid Cook Certificate of Competency
