Job Description:
We have an urgent vacancy for a full crew to join an Icebreaker vessel operating in Latvia.
The contract is short-term, with duration depending on weather and operational requirements. The company is seeking experienced and flexible seafarers ready for immediate deployment under challenging working conditions typical for ice navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Safe navigation and vessel operation in ice conditions
• Engine room operation, maintenance, and watchkeeping
• Support of icebreaking operations and deck duties
• Compliance with safety, ISM, and company procedures
• Effective teamwork under short-term and dynamic operations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the applied position
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Basic English communication skills
• Previous experience on any type of vessel is required
• Ability to join on short notice
