Job Description:

Southern Regent Shipping, Inc. (SRSI) is currently hiring full crew for a new Domestic Cargo/LCT vessel. The company is looking for qualified and experienced Filipino seafarers with valid licenses, certificates and medical documentation.

Applicants preferably based in Cebu or nearby areas.

Open Positions:

Deck Department:

• Captain — Master or Chief Mate License
• Chief Mate — Chief Mate License
• 2nd Mate / 3rd Mate — OIC-NW

Engine Department:

• Chief Engineer — OIC-EW (2E and above)
• 2nd Engineer — MDM 2
• 3rd Engineer — MDM 1 or 2

Ratings / Catering:

• 3 Able-Bodied Seafarers (AB)
• 3 Oilers
• 1 Cook

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out duties according to the assigned rank and department.
• Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
• Maintaining deck, engine-room and vessel equipment as applicable to the position.
• Following company procedures and maritime safety regulations.
• Supporting cargo and vessel operations during domestic voyages.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in the applied position.
• Valid and complete seafarer documents and certificates.
• Valid license appropriate to the position.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Required STCW certificates, as applicable.
• Applicants preferably from Cebu or nearby areas.
• Candidates must be able to provide complete and updated documentation.
