Job Description:
Novo Sdn Bhd is currently hiring offshore crew for an Accommodation Workboat (AWB) operating in Brunei Waters. The project involves accommodation support, personnel transfer, and offshore logistical operations. Crew members will work on a modern AWB with safe and well-equipped facilities. This opportunity is open primarily to local Bruneian, Malaysian, and Indonesian candidates, though other nationalities may apply depending on visa availability and local employment regulations. Deployment is scheduled for the last week of January 2026.

Key Responsibilities by Position:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Master (STCW Reg. II/2)
  • Command and overall management of the vessel
  • Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards
  • Supervise crew and coordinate offshore operations
• Chief Engineer (STCW Reg. III/2)
  • Manage and maintain all machinery and engineering systems
  • Supervise engineering crew and oversee routine inspections
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Chief Officer (STCW Reg. II/2)
  • Assist Master in navigation and vessel management
  • Supervise deck crew and cargo/people transfer operations
  • Maintain vessel safety equipment and procedures
• Second Officer (STCW Reg. II/1)
  • Assist in navigation and watchkeeping duties
  • Maintain navigational equipment and safety protocols
  • Support Chief Officer in deck operations
• Second Engineer (STCW Reg. III/2)
  • Assist Chief Engineer in machinery operation and maintenance
  • Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of engines and systems
  • Ensure compliance with engineering safety standards
• Able Bodied Seaman (AB) – 4 Slots (STCW Reg. II/4)
  • Perform general deck duties and maintenance
  • Assist in mooring, cargo handling, and safety operations
  • Support crew in daily vessel operations
• Oiler – 2 Slots (STCW Reg. III/4)
  • Assist engineering team in machinery operation and lubrication
  • Conduct routine maintenance and monitor engine performance
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the engine room
• Cook – 1 Slot
  • Prepare meals for crew onboard
  • Manage galley hygiene and inventory
  • Support accommodation operations as needed

Requirements:
• Experience and familiarity with Accommodation Workboats (AWB)
• Relevant AWB/offshore experience is required
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book
• Complete and valid documents
• Ready to join by January 2026
• Proficiency in English communication
• Local candidates preferred: Bruneian, Malaysian, Indonesian (other nationalities subject to visa limitations)
