Job Description
Marinia Qatar is currently recruiting experienced offshore professionals to join Non-Self Propelled Jack-Up Barges (JUB) operating in Qatar.
The company is seeking qualified marine, engineering, electrical, lifting, and communication specialists with proven offshore experience to support safe and efficient offshore construction and marine operations.
Successful candidates must possess valid offshore certifications, relevant professional qualifications, and previous experience in their respective positions.

Offshore Operations
Job Responsibilities
- Perform duties according to assigned position and company procedures
- Support safe offshore construction and marine operations
- Maintain vessel machinery, lifting equipment, communication, or electrical systems depending on assigned rank
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and international offshore safety standards
- Participate in emergency drills and toolbox meetings
- Maintain operational records and technical documentation
- Work effectively within a multinational offshore team
- Maintain operational readiness throughout the contract period
Requirements
General Requirements
- Previous offshore experience in the applied position
- Valid STCW certification package (where applicable)
- Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities
Position-Specific Requirements
Radio Operator
- Valid GOC (General Operator Certificate)
- Minimum 1 year experience as Radio Operator
- Valid English Marlins Test Certificate
Chief Mechanic
- Maintenance Supervisor Certificate or Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
- Minimum 3 years proven offshore experience
Crane Operator
- Minimum 5 years offshore experience
- All previous and current Crane Operator Certificates
- Crane Operator Logbook
- Additional onboard training will be provided
Chief Electrician
- Previous offshore experience as Chief Electrician
- Relevant electrical qualifications and offshore certifications
