ETO on Self-propelled Jack Up Barge DP2 (Qatar)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge DP2 operating in Qatar. The candidate must have relevant DP experience and hold a valid ETO Certificate of Competency and DP Maintenance Certificate. A minimum of 36 months of experience on DP2/DP3 vessels is required, with preferably 12 months of actual onboard experience as an ETO on a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge. Joining: ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems onboard
• Operation and maintenance of DP-related electrical and control systems
• Ensuring safe and reliable operation of vessel electrical equipment
• Carrying out inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in accordance with company procedures
• Supporting safe vessel operations in compliance with applicable maritime and STCW requirements

Requirements:
• Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Minimum 36 months of experience on DP2/DP3 vessels
• Preferably 12 months of actual onboard experience as ETO on a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid passport and seaman’s book with documented sea service
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

• Contract Duration: 60 days on / 60 days off
• Salary: USD 420 per day
