ETO on Self-propelled Jack Up Barge DP2(Qatar)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Self-propelled Jack-Up Barge DP2 operating in Qatar. The candidate must have relevant DP experience and preferably actual onboard experience on Self-propelled Jack-Up Barge vessels. Joining is required ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintain and operate electrical and electronic systems onboard
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of DP2 systems and equipment
• Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of electrical/electronic equipment
• Support vessel operations in accordance with company and safety procedures
• Maintain required technical and operational documentation

Requirements:
• Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) License / COC
• Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
• Valid STCW certificates
• Minimum 24 months of experience on DP2/DP3 vessels
• Preferably 12 months actual onboard experience on Self-propelled Jack-Up Barge in the rank of ETO
• Valid medical certificate
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
