ETO on Conro Vessel (Spain)

Location: Spain

Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a CONRO vessel operating in the waters around Spain. The contract duration is 5 ± 1 months, with the joining date scheduled for end of October. The successful candidate must hold a valid Electro Technical Officer’s License and have completed an English language test within the last 3 months. Previous experience on RoRo vessels is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining and monitoring the vessel’s electrical, electronic, and automation systems
• Carrying out inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
• Supporting the safe and reliable operation of power generation and distribution systems
• Assisting with maintenance of navigation, communication, alarm, and control systems
• Ensuring all electrical and technical activities comply with company procedures and applicable safety regulations

Requirements:
• Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) License
• Valid COC, Flag State Endorsement, and STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Completed English language test within the last 3 months
• Minimum 24 months of onboard experience as ETO on similar types of vessels
• RoRo vessel experience is preferred
• Valid passport and seaman’s book with documented sea service
• References from previous employers
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
