Description
Qualification:
- A valid RME License or certification from a relevant maritime authority, which may include STCW endorsements for electrical engineers.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of sea service as an electrical officer or in a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position (such as 2nd Electrician).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and safety management procedures on board vessels. Familiarity with emergency power systems, generators, and electrical distribution systems.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of electricians and technicians in the engine room or electrical department.
- Understanding of international maritime regulations and safety standards related to electrical operations.
