Job Description:
The Chief Officer assists the Master in managing the deck department, overseeing cargo operations, and maintaining vessel safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise deck operations and cargo handling.
• Monitor vessel stability and safety equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and drills.
• Maintain logs and operational records.
• Support the Master in daily vessel management.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates and Chief Officer license.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Nationality: India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, or Turkey.
• Experience on Non-DP offshore or merchant vessels.
