Job Description

A maritime company is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join an AHTS Non-DP vessel.

The successful candidate will assist the Master in managing deck operations, supervising deck personnel, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of offshore support and anchor-handling activities.

This opportunity is suitable for qualified deck officers with proven experience in the same rank onboard AHTS or PSV vessels.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Master with the safe operation and management of the vessel
• Supervise deck operations and anchor-handling activities
• Manage deck personnel and assign operational duties
• Ensure proper maintenance of deck equipment and machinery
• Monitor compliance with onboard safety procedures
• Maintain deck records and operational documentation
• Support safe offshore operations and effective teamwork

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Officer onboard AHTS or PSV vessels
• Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory
• Valid seafarer's documents and certificates
• Good English communication skills
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Strong knowledge of deck operations and offshore safety procedures
