Description
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma is required; preference will be given to candidates with a 4 year college degree. Also must have a marine operations background; being familiar with shipyards, tugs, and barges. Necessary experience is dependent upon the individual, but a minimum of 5 years sea-going experience on towing vessels. Must have at minimum US Coast Guard License 1600 GT Mate upon Oceans with Mate of Towing Vessels endorsement. Also required are: Current radar observer endorsement, FCC marine radiotelephone operator permit, and STCW 2010.
