Job Description:
Faststream is currently recruiting for a Sole Engineer to join a Multicat vessel for a project in Germany starting in May. This is a permanent contract. Due to project requirements, we can only consider candidates with multicat experience and UK right to work.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
· Sole responsibility for all engineering operations, maintenance, and repairs onboard the Multicat vessel
· Routine inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary machinery
· Compliance with all safety management systems, ISM, and client HSEQ requirements
· Coordination with the Master regarding fuel consumption, engine performance, and operational planning
· Maintenance of engine room logs, records, and planned maintenance systems

Requirements:
· Multicat experience – mandatory
· UK right to work – mandatory
· Valid Sole Engineer COC (Certificate of Competency) appropriate for Multicat operations
· Valid STCW certificates as per rank
· Valid Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent)
· Valid Seaman's Book and Passport
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Nationality requirement: Must hold UK right to work
· Availability: Must be available for May start in Germany
