Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Job Description:
We are urgently recruiting a highly experienced Chief Engineer for a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (DP2) operating in KSA waters. The vessel is engaged in offshore operations requiring full technical management and operational control of all engine room systems.
Contract duration is 60 days with immediate joining (ASAP). The offered wage is 950 USD per day.
Candidates must hold a valid Chief Engineer’s License and have substantial offshore jack-up barge experience. ARAMCO-approved candidates are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing complete engine room operations and technical management of the vessel
• Ensuring safe and efficient functioning of main engines, auxiliaries, and DP systems
• Managing maintenance schedules and troubleshooting mechanical failures
• Supervising and leading the engine department crew
• Ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations and company safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer’s License
• Minimum 24 months of experience as Chief Engineer on Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (actual onboard experience)
• ARAMCO approval (preferred)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• Proficiency in English communication
