Location: North Sea
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for an SCOV DP2 vessel (GRT 9423, built in 2009, Norway flag) operating in the North Sea region. The vessel is equipped with a 150-tonne SWL crane. The contract duration is 4 weeks with an expected joining date on the 27th of May.
The company is considering only EU Nationals holding a valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainian candidates under UK protection status.
The successful candidate must possess a valid Chief Engineer’s License, HUET with CA-EBS, and DP Maintenance certification. Candidates should have a minimum of 12 months of recent offshore experience onboard MPSV, OCV, or DSV vessel types in the rank of Chief Engineer. Full Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing all engine room operations and technical maintenance onboard
• Supervising engineering crew and ensuring safe vessel operations
• Overseeing propulsion, power generation, and DP-related systems
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company procedures
• Coordinating planned maintenance, repairs, and technical reporting
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Valid Chief Engineer’s License
• Valid HUET with CA-EBS certificate
• Valid DP Maintenance certification
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
• Proficiency in English communication
• Only EU Nationals with valid UK Work Permit or Ukrainians under UK protection status
• Minimum 12 months of offshore experience as Chief Engineer on MPSV / OCV / DSV vessel types
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks
• Salary: 500 EUR per day
