Chief Engineer on PSV NON-DP (Saudi Arabia)

Position: Chief Engineer – PSV NON-DP

Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a non-DP Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating in Saudi Arabian waters. The contract duration is 90 days, with a possible variation of ±30 days. Joining is scheduled for the beginning of November 2026.

Candidates must hold a valid Chief Engineer’s License and have a minimum of 24 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of Chief Engineer on PSV or AHTS vessels. Saudi Aramco-approved candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all vessel machinery, engines, and technical systems.
• Manage the engine department and supervise the engineering team.
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations, environmental standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate engine-room records, technical reports, and maintenance documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid Chief Engineer’s License / Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid flag State endorsement and all applicable STCW certificates.
• Minimum of 24 months of actual onboard experience as Chief Engineer on PSV/AHTS vessels.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Marlins English test score of at least 80% in every section.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Saudi Aramco approval is an advantage.
