Vessel Type: Jack Up Barge DP2 (Self-Propelled)
Position: Chief Engineer

Job Description:

Chief Engineer required for Self-Propelled Jack Up Barge DP2 operating in UAE. Contract duration is 6 weeks, joining ASAP. Candidate must hold a valid Chief Engineer’s License.
Minimum obligatory experience — 24–36 months onboard Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges in rank of Chief Engineer.
ADNOC-approved candidates are preferable.
Candidates must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, may include but are not limited to:
 • Management and supervision of all engine room operations
 • Maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
 • Ensuring safe and efficient performance of vessel machinery
 • Coordination with technical teams for jacking operations
 • Compliance with ADNOC and international engineering safety standards
 • Managing planned maintenance, technical reporting, and documentation
 • Leading and training the engine room crew

Requirements:

• Chief Engineer’s License
 • Minimum 24–36 months experience as Chief Engineer on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges
 • ADNOC approval (preferable)
 • All STCW certificates valid for at least 12 months
 • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
 • Valid Passport & Seaman’s Book

Wages:

700–800 USD per day (depending on experience)
