Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer for a Bulk Carrier Vessel operating worldwide.

Open Position:

• Chief Engineer — USD 10,300/month

Key Responsibilities

•  Take overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's engine department. 
•  Supervise maintenance and operation of main and auxiliary machinery. 
•  Ensure compliance with planned maintenance schedules and safety procedures. 
•  Manage the engine department crew and ensure all machinery is maintained in operational condition. 
•  Comply with international maritime regulations, company procedures, and HSE requirements. 

Requirements

•  Valid Chief Engineer's License / CoC. 
•  Minimum 18 months of actual onboard experience as Chief Engineer on similar Bulk Carrier vessels. 
•  Valid US Visa C1/D is mandatory. 
•  Valid CoC and Endorsement. 
•  Valid STCW Certificates. 
•  Valid Medical Certificate. 
•  Valid Passport and Seaman's Book. 
•  Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
