Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Engineer to join an AHTS DP2 (Anchor Handling Tug Supply, DP2 class) vessel operating in offshore waters of the United Arab Emirates.

This is a short-term contract (60–90 days) with immediate joining. The position requires strong technical expertise, DP vessel experience, and proven leadership in offshore operations.

Candidates with ADNOC approval will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Managing and overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and systems
• Ensuring DP system readiness and supporting DP operations from an engineering perspective
• Supervising engine room crew and maintaining discipline and safety standards
• Planning and executing preventive maintenance and repairs
• Ensuring full compliance with company procedures, class, flag state, and ADNOC requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Chief Engineer’s License (CoC)
• Valid DPVM Certificate
• Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on similar AHTS DP2 vessels in the rank of Chief Engineer
• Minimum 1000 DP hours (documented)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Proficiency in English
• ADNOC-approved candidates preferred

• Wages: USD 400 per day
