Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a Chief Engineer for an AHTS DP2 vessel operating in UAE waters.

The contract duration is 60–90 days with joining ASAP. The vessel is engaged in offshore operations, and candidates must have proven experience on similar vessel types. ADNOC-approved candidates are preferable.

Wages are 400 USD per day.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery
• Supervising engine room personnel and watchkeeping schedules
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of DP systems and other technical equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Maintaining accurate engine room logs and technical documentation

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Chief Engineer’s License
• DPVM Certificate
• Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on similar vessel types in the rank of Chief Engineer
• Minimum 1000 DP hours (documented)
• ADNOC approval (preferable)
• Proficiency in English communication
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
