Vessel Type: Tugboat
A reputable offshore operator is seeking a Casual Engineer to join a Tugboat operating in Ireland for a short-term assignment. The successful candidate will support the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's machinery and engineering systems while ensuring compliance with company procedures and maritime regulations.
The assignment is scheduled from 06 August to 12 August.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate and monitor engine room machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
Maintain engine room logs and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Second Engineer Unlimited CoC or Chief Engineer Limited CoC
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman's Book
Previous experience on tugboats or similar workboats is preferred
