Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently seeking a Chief Engineer to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge (SPJUB) operating in Saudi Arabia.
This is an immediate joining opportunity for a 12–14 week contract. The vessel is engaged in offshore operations, and the selected candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the engine department, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant technical performance onboard.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years net sea time as Chief Engineer on SPJUB vessels.
Previous Saudi Aramco approval is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Overall responsibility for engine room operations and technical management
• Supervising and leading the engineering team onboard
• Ensuring maintenance and reliability of propulsion and auxiliary systems
• Managing planned maintenance systems and technical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with safety, class, and project requirements
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Certificate of Competency (CoC) – Chief Engineer
• Minimum 3 years net sea time as Chief Engineer on SPJUB vessels
• BOISET/FOET certificate
• H2S certificate
• Seaman’s Book
• Valid Passport
• Previous Aramco approval preferred
