Description

We are currently searching for an experienced Chief Offshore Engineer to support current and future marine construction projects.
What You Will Do:

Safe operation and routine maintenance of the vessel’s power, propulsion, auxiliary, and other electro-mechanical and electronic systems in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the vessel’s flag, the international community, company policies and procedures, and the manufacturer’s recommendations in a manner responsible to the safety of the crew.
Supervision of 1st engineers, monitoring, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance in accordance with Company procedures and in a manner responsible to the safety of the crew and the protection of the natural environment.
Responsible care and use of the vessel’s consumable spares, mechanical stores and tools inventories.
General vessel maintenance and monitoring
Create work plan and execute daily tasks in accordance with the established schedule in Vessel Management System.
Update completed tasks with notes in Vessel Management System as completed.
Maintain inventory of tools and critical/spare parts on board the vessel.
Assign work to any assistant engineering staff and monitor to ensure satisfactory completion.
Work as a deckhand as needed
