Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Multicat vessel operating on offshore projects in Africa. The role involves full responsibility for engine room operations, maintenance, and technical performance of the vessel. This position offers a balanced 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation and requires hands-on experience with Multicat vessels and Caterpillar machinery in offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Manage and supervise all engine room operations and personnel
• Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of Caterpillar engines
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards
• Support offshore operations through efficient technical management

Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
• Proven experience on Multicat or similar vessel types
• Strong familiarity with Caterpillar engines
• Experience with MARAD system (significant advantage)
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Valid Seaman’s Book and travel documents
• Proficiency in English communication
