Chief Engineer for Floating Crane Vessel

Job Description:

PT. Maritime Manning Nusantara is urgently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Floating Crane Vessel.

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and safe operation of the vessel's engine department, machinery, and technical systems. Previous experience in the same position and experience working with Chinese crew members are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and supervising all engine department operations.
• Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines, and machinery.
• Planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitoring fuel consumption, spare parts, and technical supplies.
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and coordinating engine department activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as Chief Engineer is mandatory.
• Experience on Floating Crane or similar offshore vessels.
• Experience working with Chinese crew members.
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documentation.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ready to join at short notice.
