Location: South America / Offshore Operations
We are currently recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to join a DP2 Offshore Vessel (PSV) with crew change in South America. The position is offered on a short-term rotational contract and is suitable for a senior engineering professional with strong offshore PSV experience.
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and management of all engine room machinery, electrical systems, and DP-related equipment, ensuring full compliance with company procedures, class requirements, and offshore safety standards.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overall responsibility for engine room operations, maintenance, and safety
• Management and supervision of the engineering department and engine room personnel
• Ensuring safe operation and maintenance of DP-related systems in line with DP maintenance requirements
• Managing High Voltage systems and ensuring compliance with electrical safety procedures
• Compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and company and class regulations

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the Chief Engineer rank
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• DP Maintenance certification – mandatory
• High Voltage certification – mandatory
• Previous PSV / DP vessel experience in rank
• Proficiency in English communication
