Job Description:
DOF Asia Pacific is currently seeking experienced
Chief Engineer with DP Unlimited qualifications to join its offshore marine operations supporting the Oil and Gas industry in Australia. The role involves working onboard advanced DP2 offshore vessels, including Construction Support Vessels (CSV), Multi-Purpose Support Vessels (MPSV), Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (AHTS), and Platform Supply Vessels (PSV).
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining safe navigation, offshore operational support, and dynamic positioning activities while ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintain safe navigation and DP operations onboard DP2 offshore vessels
• Support offshore construction, subsea, anchor handling, and supply operations
• Ensure compliance with maritime and offshore safety regulations
• Assist with vessel operational planning and bridge watchkeeping duties
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with onboard crew and offshore personnel
• Promote Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times
Requirements:
• DP Unlimited certification (essential)
• Proven offshore experience onboard DP2 vessels
• Experience with MPSV, CSV, AHTS, and/or PSV vessel operations
• Valid Deck Watchkeeper Certificate of Competency (COC) or higher
• Valid AMSA and/or Norwegian Medical certificate (minimum 6 months validity)
• Current or obtainable BOSIET-CAEBS certification preferred
• Current MISC certificate or ability to obtain one
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work remotely in offshore operational environments
