Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a Crew Boat operating in Qatar. The vessel is equipped with a CAT engine, and the role involves full responsibility for engine room operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance of all machinery onboard.
This position requires strong hands-on experience in crew boat operations, with the ability to manage maintenance, troubleshooting, and engine department leadership during offshore support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Overseeing all engine room operations onboard Crew Boat
• Ensuring proper maintenance and performance of CAT engine systems
• Conducting regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Managing and supervising engine room crew
• Ensuring compliance with safety and marine regulations
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on Crew Boats
• Valid STCW certificates
• Experience with CAT engines preferred
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Strong leadership and technical skills in engine operations
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: 90 days
