Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Chief Engineer Unlimited to join a Crew Boat. As a key member of the vessel’s crew, the Chief Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and performance of all machinery and equipment on board, in compliance with international conventions, Flag State and Class requirements, as well as Company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery and technical systems on board
• Oversee maintenance of main propulsion machinery over 3,000 kW
• Ensure compliance with international regulations, Class, and Flag State requirements
• Manage engine department operations and personnel
• Maintain technical documentation and reporting
Requirements:
• STCW III/2 CoC Unlimited
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• Good knowledge of the Italian language
• DP Maintenance certificate (advantage)
• COVID-19 vaccination
