Barge Engineer for Offshore Project (United Arab Emirates)

Job Description:
National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) is looking for an experienced Barge Engineer to join its marine operations team in Abu Dhabi. Candidates should have previous experience working onboard barges and relevant technical experience in marine operations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and maintaining barge machinery and technical systems.
• Coordinating routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Identifying equipment defects and supporting troubleshooting activities.
• Ensuring compliance with marine safety and operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualifications
• Proven experience as a Barge Engineer
• Previous experience working on barges
• Marine industry experience
• Practical troubleshooting and maintenance skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow technical and HSE procedures
