Job Description:
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced 1st Engineer to join a DSV (Dive Support Vessel) in Norway.
The position is for a 2-week assignment, with joining scheduled for the 29th. Previous DSV experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the vessel's machinery and technical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate, monitor, and maintain main and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of vessel systems.
Support DP maintenance and ensure technical readiness of the vessel.
Assist with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety and company procedures.
Requirements:
Valid CoC (Certificate of Competency).
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid HUET / BOSIET / FOET.
HV (High Voltage) certification.
DP Maintenance certification.
Valid Medical Certificate.
Valid Seaman's Book.
Valid Passport.
Previous DSV experience is preferred.
Relevant experience as a 1st Engineer.
Good English communication skills.
