Bosun for Self-Elevating Offshore Unit

Job Description

An experienced Bosun is required to join a Self-Elevating Offshore Unit in China. The Bosun will supervise deck ratings and support safe deck, mooring, maintenance, lifting, and general marine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising deck crew and organizing daily deck activities.
• Supporting mooring, anchoring, lifting, and deck operations.
• Carrying out deck maintenance and preservation.
• Ensuring deck equipment and tools are properly maintained.
• Supporting safe working practices and offshore operations.

Requirements

• EU nationals only.
• Cyprus Endorsement – mandatory.
• Valid CoC/certification appropriate to rank.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid BOSIET / FOET (OPITO).
• Valid OEUK Medical.
• Previous Jack-Up experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
