Job Description

Candina Group is currently seeking an experienced Bosun to join a Belgium-flagged Research Vessel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising deck crew, organizing maintenance activities, overseeing mooring operations, ensuring safe deck operations, and supporting scientific and vessel operations onboard.

Requirements

• Previous experience as Bosun is required
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid seafarer medical certificate
• Valid passport and seaman book
• Experience onboard research vessels or similar vessel types preferred
• Good English communication skills
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
