Position:
Location: India / Offshore (US-bound)
Overview:
The Bosun leads the deck crew, ensuring all deck operations, maintenance tasks, and safety procedures are carried out efficiently. Works closely with the officers and coordinates day-to-day deck activities and cargo handling.
Main Responsibilities:
Supervise the deck team and assign daily work plans
Inspect and maintain deck machinery and safety gear
Assist in navigation and cargo operations as needed
Enforce safety and environmental compliance
Take part in safety and emergency drills
Qualifications:
Valid STCW certificates
Seafarer medical certificate
English communication skills
Valid U.S. visa
Previous experience in a senior deck role preferred
Contract Details:
Duration: As per vessel rotation schedule
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
