Job Description:
Bosun is required to join a Jack-Up Wind Farm Installation Vessel operating in UK waters. The successful candidate will join on 27th July for a 5-week contract, supporting offshore wind installation operations. Applicants must have previous offshore experience, hold all required certifications, and have the legal right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate daily deck operations and deck crew activities.
Lead lifting, cargo handling, mooring, and anchoring operations safely and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and offshore safety standards.
Maintain deck equipment and assist with routine inspections and maintenance.
Support marine and installation operations during offshore wind farm projects.
Requirements:
Valid AB Certificate of Competency (COC).
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificates.
GWO Working at Heights (WAH).
GWO Manual Handling (MH).
HLO (Helicopter Landing Officer) certificate.
BOSIET/FOET.
CA-EBS certification.
Medical First Aid (MFA) certificate.
Valid Chester Step assessment.
Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
Valid Passport.
Valid Seaman's Book.
UK working rights are mandatory.
Previous experience as a Bosun on offshore or wind farm installation vessels is preferred.
