Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Bosun to join a heavy lift semi-submersible vessel operating in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will support deck operations related to heavy lift activities, cargo handling, and vessel maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company procedures and UK offshore regulations.

This role is ideal for professionals with offshore heavy lift experience, strong leadership skills, and a high level of safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating deck crew during heavy lift and cargo operations
• Supporting crane and lifting activities in accordance with lifting plans
• Operation and maintenance of deck equipment and mooring systems
• Ensuring safe deck practices and toolbox talks
• Maintaining cleanliness and readiness of deck areas
• Compliance with HSE policies, vessel procedures, and UK offshore standards
• Assisting senior officers with deck operations and reporting

Requirements:

• UK Right to Work (mandatory)
• Valid Certificate of Competency (Bosun) – Stage 2 preferable
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid Offshore / Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Book
• GWO Sea Survival
• BOSIET
• Proven offshore experience, preferably on heavy lift or semi-submersible vessels
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and leadership ability
