Bosun for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is inviting applications from experienced Bosuns to supervise deck ratings and support offshore operations aboard an AHTS Non-DP vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervise deck ratings and coordinate daily deck activities.
• Assist with anchor handling, towing, mooring, and deck operations.
• Ensure deck equipment, wires, ropes, and tools are maintained in good condition.
• Conduct deck inspections and promote safe working practices.
• Assist the Chief Officer with maintenance, safety drills, and operational tasks.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Bosun on AHTS or offshore support vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Knowledge of deck equipment and offshore deck operations.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents and applicable offshore certificates.
