Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a Third Officer / Junior DPO for a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) operating in the North Sea. This is a short-term contract opportunity starting in mid-December. The vessel is a modern DP3 class SOV. Due to vessel flag specific requirements, we can only consider applicants holding a valid EU passport or a Ukrainian passport with a valid EU residence permit.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Performing navigational watches as Third Officer.
• Operating and monitoring the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system under the supervision of the DPO.
• Maintaining the vessel’s logbooks and documentation related to DP operations.
• Assisting with the safety management and maintenance of safety equipment onboard.

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (including OOW License)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Nationality requirement: Must hold a valid EU passport OR a Ukrainian passport with an EU residence permit.
• Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar position (3rd Officer/JDPO) or on similar vessel types (SOV/OSV/AHTS).
• Valid DP Advanced Certificate and a completed DP Logbook.
• Valid HUET and CA-EBS certificates.
