Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd Officer with proven seismic vessel experience to join an offshore project in Malaysia. The successful candidate will support bridge operations, navigation watchkeeping, and seismic survey activities in compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and international maritime regulations.

Seismic vessel experience is mandatory — applications without relevant seismic background will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bridge watchkeeping duties during seismic operations
• Assisting in navigation, route planning, and position monitoring
• Supporting seismic survey operations and adherence to project procedures
• Maintaining navigational equipment and bridge documentation
• Compliance with HSE policies, SMS, and international maritime regulations
• Participation in safety drills, toolbox talks, and operational briefings
• Effective communication with the bridge team and seismic crew

Requirements:

• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) / 3rd Officer CoC
• Full set of valid STCW certificates
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Mandatory experience on seismic vessels
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in offshore project environments
